Do your beliefs help you, or do they hinder you?

Many times during a lifetime, you may experience coming to a crossroads.  Which way do you take?  Which way is the 'best' way?  How will you know if you made the right choice?  There are always decisions to be made and choices to make, the world is energy and energy is always in flux or movement.  So with that information at hand, there is no right or wrong choice there is just movement.

The choices you make or the movement you create is always right in that moment.  Now, you can also make the choice to not choose, and remain where you are.  However, know this, even when you do not make a choice movement still happens.  There is a period of time where everything adjusts to your choice or lack of.  Everything in your energy field adjusts to the vibration of the choices and decisions you make.  Ultimately, these choices and decisions make up your belief system.

There are so many beliefs that are held by the people of this world.  There are beliefs about money, relationships, sex, religion, self image and so on.  Your beliefs make up the world in which you live in and see day after day.  Your beliefs become a part of your energy field and a part of your vibration and send out to the Universe what experiences you'd like to have in your life, and of course the Universe delivers.  Now, what happens when you are working though your beliefs and what happens when you are working towards moving past those beliefs?  Are you easily able to move forward, on with your life and journey or do you feel stuck?

During your life you will experience new things and hear new information, many times over.  When this happens, your mind expands to allow for the new way of being to enter into your beliefs and into your energy field or vibration.  This also creates new experiences for you.  Now you've expanded and grown.  Enjoy your journey, allow growth and expansion to cultivate the life you live, and remember if you don't like it, Change It!

Is it a Waste of Time and Energy?

I read so many quotes about not wasting my time or energy on this person or that person, and I'm not so sure I agree that its a waste.  So, I've been thinking about this for quite some time, and today I finally received the answer from my guides about why the quotes that state its a waste of my time and energy bother me.  Here is what they say:

"As human beings you consider yourselves as individuals separate from one another.  And as humans that is true, however you are spirit first and you are experiencing a human life second.  Spirit is always connected as consciousness, and as consciousness you are all one. 

To say that it is a waste of your time and energy to be with negative people is to say its a waste of time and energy for others to be with you as well, as we said at a spirit level we are all one and all connected.  When you say it is only okay to be with this person and not that person because of (fill in the blank) you are being conditional instead of unconditional.  This causes great angst within your being because when you want others to just accept and love you for who you are, they can not because you do not love the other person, which is you too, unconditionally.  We have much more to teach on this and will do so in the coming days.  Please consider what we say and find if it is true for you.

To Fear or Not To Fear

I became a Reiki Master in 2000 without even knowing what Reiki or Energy Healing was.  I just knew I wanted to learn this thing called Reiki.  I found it exciting that I could ease someones headache or relieve pain in someones body.  I've continued to practice Reiki throughout the years, and have studied with teachers and again, practiced my trade.  Last year I decided to expand my energy healing and began studying Cranial Sacral.

As of this writing I have completed six levels of Cranial Sacral (level 7 is in 3 weeks).  Each level is held over four days, and we work on each other all four days.  We learn new Cranial techniques then practice on each other, and end each day giving each other full 1 hour sessions.  I usually receive anywhere from 8-12 sessions per level, that's a lot of energy work in one weekend!  To say I've changed in the past year, since starting Cranial Sacral, is an understatement.  I've gone through so many ups and downs, I've cleared out old beliefs, had low vibrational energies removed, and rebuilt myself after each level.  WOW! What a ride!  During all this time I had the support of my friends, fellow classmates, and my teacher, and I am thankful for all of it.  Sometimes I had to shout my frustrations, or cry or just be quiet and everyone gave me the space to do just that.  They all knew I was clearing, and anything I said was not directed at them, I was just moving it out of my field.  Again,  thank you all for being there with me.

That all being said, you might be wondering about the low vibrational energies I've cleared.  Many people like to call this 'negative' energy, or blockages, maybe you use evil or demon to describe it.  I'd agree that it is all of that.  If its not uplifting, its negative.  If you aren't in the flow you have a blockage.  If it keeps you from doing what you want, its evil or a demon.  Its just a title to describe an unwanted energy.

When I explain a 'blockage' to you, I am not going to scare you about it because I do not come from a place of fear.  I come from a place of love, and I want you to open up to your true light being self, not because I scared you into it, but because you want to do it.  Everyone has a low vibrational energy or two to clear out, some people have more.  Its just the way that it is.

Fear comes into play when someone puts that fear in your mind and you believe it.  That fear belief than permeates all through your body, your cellular structure and becomes a part of who you are.  This fear get energized, it even has an intelligence or consciousness.  Its that voice you hear in your head that tells you "don't do it," "ooooh, we better be careful over there,"  or it stops us dead in our tracks and we completely shut down.  The question to have at this point would be "where did this fear come from."

I ask myself this question all the time.  "Where did this come from?"  "Is it mine?"  "Who gave me this information, and why did I take it in?"  These questions help you to begin the process of clearing.  Clearing out thoughts and beliefs that no longer serve you.

It could be you heard the information in a class or workshop, maybe a psychic told you to be fearful of it, maybe you read a channeled book or blog and it created fear in you.  So you took the information and created an energetic for it in your beliefs and you auric field.  What you heard was information from lower vibrational energies, perhaps the channeling was the person's fears coming out in the channeling.  You heard or received some kind of information, its up to you to be discerning of the information you bring into your beliefs and energy field.  Don't be fearful of having a reading or attending a channeling or reading a book, consider the information and how its presented.  Then decide what you'll do with it.

High vibrational energy feels good.  Information from a high vibrational channeling, or reading is always helpful with your best interest in mind.  You might receive a caution about something, but its not all spooky, and it does not create a fear within you.  High vibrational energies emit love, joy and forward movement.

I regularly have Cranial Sacral sessions done on me because I enjoy clearing out my stuff.  I turn my blockages, which we now know are fears or low vibrational energy (not scary), into flower pots.  Nothing spooky about a flower pot, right?  Since I've been clearing out my blockages, my intuitive gifts and healing style have opened up and gone through the roof.  I've removed the block of 'self-doubt' and the block of 'am I good enough' and its so wonderfully freeing I can't even explain it.  When anything comes up, that doesn't belong, I know it right away and I go have a session with my teacher or one of his healers.  I get it taken care of right away because I do not like how I feel with a block in my energy field.

Anyone in the healing field would benefit greatly from having regular sessions on themselves.  Trade with other practitioners, we need to be clear so we can fully assist others in being clear.  I trade with other Cranial Sacral practitioners, Reiki healers, and other healing modalities.  I like being clear and I like (well, Love) Energy Healing.  It is my passion and desire to help you, when you are ready, to move past your fears, break down your blockages and watch as you blossom into the being of light you are meant to be.  The transformation is pure beauty!

Cranial Sacral

Just yesterday I had the honor of working with a beautiful woman. She came in wanting some kind of energy work. She was feeling drained, tired and energetically heavy. She told me she's gained weight in her mid section & diet doesn't seem to be working. She also told me that a small bump has appeared on her calf. She wanted help getting back to 'how she used to be'

I suggested a Cranial Sacral Session to her. I explained that during the session we would look at why you are feeling all these things, what/where is the root for all this heaviness. I also told here that we'd be pulling the band-aid off the wound, looking at the wound & then healing the wound. She said yes, without hesitation, this is what she wanted.

During the session it came up that her husband had left her & their 7 year old son. She couldn't understand why. She was spending much time trying to figure it out. During a part of the session called Sacred Journey, I had her feel & experience her sadness, to actually sit in it for a bit. I encouraged her through the whole journey & filled her with light & unconditional love to help her move through her emotions of sadness. She did & she was absolutely glowing after she allowed herself to be in the emotion & then to release it.

To help strengthen her, I had her take her sons hand & walk down a path together, then I brought her out of the altered state & back into her body & room.

She just laid there in that new energy for a good 10 minutes. Again, just beautiful!

Suppressed Emotions showed up in her physical body as weight gain in the mid section & as a bump on her calf. They showed up as heavy feeling & draining in her energetic field. They showed up as blocks to her moving forward.

Cranial Sacral combined with Sacred Journey Therapy work together to eliminate or even transmute the 'blocks' so you can move forward with your life, your dreams, whatever it is that you want to do or be!

Blockages

What about blockages?  Everyone has them so what's the big deal?  I've often wondered why people always ask me, after a Reiki/Energy Healing Session, where they are blocked, or What Blockages or Negative energies did I pick up on while I worked on them. My answer is this: "I do not focus on blockages or Negative Energy (or negative anything). My focus is on what is best for you, the client, right here and right now.  That which is not the best for you must go, if you are ready."

I see many psychic/healers websites that describe how they can clear blockages, remove negative energy/entity...to me it seems to evoke an emotion of FEAR.  When Fear is used in any situation, I turn away from it.  I want to do things because I think its a good idea or I think its time to do it, not because someone 'freaked' me out.  Because of this I do not use Fear. I have used the word 'blockage' in some of my descriptions only because it is a word that is understood.  However, I do not focus on that, I focus on you and what is best for you in this moment.  Sometimes releasing an emotion or issue is not best for you right now, and if that is the case I will not force it to go.  I will discuss it with you, and allow you to make the decision to 'go after it' or not, its all on your time...not mine.  If I tell you all about how all these negative blockages are affecting you, you most likely will have a session with me to remove them. I do not believe that I can 'remove' anyone's blockages.

I believe that together we can work through them, experience them, and then you can release it while I assist/talk you through it. I believe it is important to anyone's healing process to be part of the release process. I know that I enjoy being a part of my releases (perhaps that makes me weird?). I figure that I am the one who created or called to me the blockage or whatever term you want to use, so I should be involved in the releasing.  By taking responsibility for the blockages, you empower yourself and you create a new energetic way of being.  Just like healthcare, when you choose to go outside of mainstream medical, or you add an alternative to your current healing, you take responsibility for your health.  I understand that insurance plays a big part of who/where you will go, but consider this:  "When you choose your healthcare based on insurance coverage, you are giving the responsibility for you healing to the insurance company.  When you choose based on how you want to heal, you take the responsibility." (D. Massat, Sacred Journey Institute).   My Cranial Sacral teacher tells us this during every class, and I find it to be true.  Now, I'm not saying to never see a medical professional.  I just want to evoke a new thought process.  There are so many alternative therapies out there, and most work wonderful with your current medical treatment(s).  In many cases, energy healing promotes faster healing.  It's worth a try, and if you do or don't like it, then you know if its something you'd pursue or not.

I use two types of energy healing modalities to assist clients with release work. I use Cranial Sacral and Reiki. I use Reiki to assist with deep relaxation and stress reduction. I also align the Chakras so they are working with your energetics, however that may be. There will be some releases with Reiki, and those energetics are found in the Aura and sometimes the physical.  I like to add Reiki in between Cranial Sacral sessions to assist your physical and energetic bodies in healing.

I use Cranial Sacral as a method of going deeper into the emotional release work that I love so much. During a Cranial Sacral session, you will go into an altered state (like a meditative fluffy state) here we work on releasing in the Astral Plane. Most clients experience a journey through 2 or 3 areas that are needing to be released at this time. For example: One client felt stuck in making decisions. Her first journey brought her to a ditch filled with black gooey tar like stuff (her indecision). I had her walk through the goo, and I talked her all they way through it, and in the end she released that. It was beautiful for me to see and help her through.

Both methods allow for release, it is up to you to decide how deep you want to go. Are you ready to be "done with it?" Do you want to move forward in your body, mind & spirit? These Energy Session, Reiki &/or Cranial Sacral are powerful healing tools that I enjoy using to assist clients in healing themselves.

Distance or Remote Energy Healing

Distance Energy Healing, really?  I’ve had discussions with people before that just aren’t too sure they can receive energy work without coming in and lying on my massage table.  I tell them its true.  Energy is everywhere, so why can’t we harness that energy and send healing to the other side of the world from where we are now?  As I go further into my energy healing experience, I’ve decided that there are no limits, unless I choose to put one out there.  Now I am working on breaking down my limits and releasing them.  I do believe anything is possible in this world, so if it’s possible then I can bring it into being. 

I learned about remote or distance healing during my Reiki II class in 1990.  I found it fascinating that we could send healing to someone in China.  Since none of us knew anyone in China, we practiced distance Reiki on one of my classmate’s husband.  I could feel that he had pain in his leg and I sent it energy for pain relief.  We did some other Reiki hand placements and completed our session.  A week later I heard from the Reiki Teacher that the lady’s husband had less pain in his leg, and he felt so much lighter, he was very happy and so was I.  I decided to really work on how I wanted my remote sessions to go, and so I came up with a couple intentions that I state before my sessions.

Before I begin a distance healing session, I always state my intentions for the session.  I begin by taking a deep breath or two and getting myself centered, grounded, connected and focused.  I say “I call on the Healing Energies of the Universe to flow through me for whatever Betsy needs healing for, I ask for the most perfect energy for Betsy and for her highest and best good to flow through me and into Betsy.”  I say something like before I begin every Energy Healing Session.  When the session is remote, I add, “I intend that this doll or stuffed animal represent Betsy and that I am able to sense her energy, chakras and all areas that need special attention. Thank You” 

Once my intention is set, I then begin working on the doll or stuffed animal as if you were actually the one on the table.  I am able to feel blockages, the chakras, and any area that has pain or needs extra energy attention.  I go through my regular energy healing motions and clearings on the doll as if it was you.  I do this while you are lying down in your home, wherever that may be. 

I did several remote sessions on a lady in Pennsylvania, and her feedback was so interesting.  She said that at the beginning of the session she saw, in her minds eye, the Egyptian Gods and Goddesses coming in her room with her.  This took place while I was stating my intention and getting myself centered.  My ‘team’ went in before me it’s so awesome.  She said that she could see the Egyptians moving about and each of them working on her in different areas, sometimes even all at once.  She was amazed at her session, and I was too. 

I’ve done remote sessions for people in California, Arkansas, Michigan, Arizona, and Connecticut, even England.  They all reported the same or very similar experiences as the lady in Pennsylvania.  Some saw the Egyptians, while a few felt their presence as very strong and very loving.  One lady said she could feel hand pressure on the painful areas of her body, as if someone was right there with her.  Energy work is so much fun, I just love it!

Recently my friend, Jack, suffered a neck injury.  When I heard about it, I sat down and began to send him a healing.  Now, I was in my office in Naperville, Illinois and he was only twenty minutes away, but it is still a distance healing since he was not physically there with me.  I sent him craniosacral healing from my office.  I spent about thirty minutes working on him.  After I was done, I gave him a call to tell him I had worked on him.  I did not give him prior notice that I was going to work on him.  He had been napping and woke up thinking he’d had a craniosacral treatment.  I was happy to hear that he received the healing I sent to him.  He was happy to have received it too, as he felt much better.

Whether you can make it in to have an Energy Healing session in person, or not doesn’t matter.  You can receive the benefits even from your home.  I just think that is both wonderful and amazing.  What a great gift from the Great Creator. Remote Healing.  It is my joy and passion to be a conduit for these beautiful energies.  I truly love what I do.

Energy Healing with the Egyptans

Many people have asked me what is energy healing, or what can I expect during a session.  I had to sit down and really think about how to answer these questions.  If you are familiar with energy, then you know how hard it can be to explain it.  My sensations of tingles in my hands may feel like pinches to you, and so on.  So as I sit here putting into words energy healing, I am reminded that all Energy sessions are different because everyone is at a different place in life and require different energies.

I began my journey into Energy in early 1990 when I became introduced to Reiki.  I had never heard of Reiki before, but at that moment I knew I wanted to learn it.  During the year I took Reiki I, II, and then the Master level.  I found it fascinating that not only could I sense someone’s headache, I was also able to pull the pain out of the body with my hands.  I was hooked.  I Reiki’d everything, my food, my body, the cats, the trees, you name it I Reiki’d it.  Anyone who was willing to sit still for at least thirty minutes received a Reiki treatment.  I still do this even in late 2012, some 12 years later.

Over the years I began to pull away from the traditional hand placements of Reiki and allowed my self to follow my intuition.  If I felt I needed to start at someone’s knees, I did.  I noticed a change in how my energy was flowing.  It was more precise, like a pinpoint laser.  One of my teachers told me the energy coming out of my hands had very ancient symbols coming out of them.  I said I was a Reiki Master, she was too and said they symbols were not Reiki.  I didn’t give it much thought until about 2005.  I began sensing new energies around me.  I later found out that it was my guides coming forward and it was time for me to know and work with them.  Much to my surprise I found the Egyptian Gods’ and Goddesses all lined up to assist me.  I began getting to know each of them and how we would work together.  The ones involved in my Energy Healing work are Isis, Bast, and Horus. 

When someone has heartache or needs love, the Goddess Isis will come and infuse you with her loving and supportive energy.  Some people have unresolved issues with their mother, or they never received support or approval from their mother, in these situations Isis will come and envelope you in her wings so you can feel the hug and love of mother energy.  Isis is considered the mother to all the Kings and Pharaohs in Egypt, and as such brings that mother energy forth.

If you have emotions or blockages that need releasing, the Goddess Bast comes to assist with clearing your chakras and aura.  During your energy healing session, the Goddess Bast guides me in seeing areas that need extra attention or clearing.  She then takes the old energy and sends it out into the cosmos for recycling into something useful.  Bast appears to me in full cat form.  She is very playful and nurturing just like a cat.  She can also be a fierce warrior, and she will fight for you to keep your energy field clear. 

The God Horus works with me when physical healing is needed.  He guides my hands and finger to specific places on the body and then the healing energy flows through me into your physical body for healing.  Its really quite remarkable the exchange between Hours and me during healing sessions.  I can sense or feel when my fingers or hands are in the correct place.  It's like those little kid games with the small metal ball and you have to get it in the little divot of cardboard, that’s how I feel when my hands or fingers are in the correct spot.  You might notice, when I work on your neck for example, that I keep moving my fingers around.  I do that until I feel the ‘click’ that I am in the correct place. 

Many things can happen during your Energy Healing Session(s) with me.  First, it’s very important, to me, that my space be safe, clear and comfortable for you and me.  I want you to feel ok crying, if you need to.  During a release your body can react in many different ways, some subtle and some more obvious.  You might twitch, or jerk your leg.  It is common to have coughing spats, and the need to clear your throat.  You might even need to shed some tears, or even have a good cry.  I have personally experienced all of these and many other more noisy releases, and am not worried if you need to release that way too.  In fact I’ll even encourage you if I feel you are holding back.  Besides I have plenty of tissues for your tears, and a compassionate heart to hold space for you to ‘do your thing.’

On occasion a past life hurt will surface, and I will work with that to release it as well.  Images will sometimes appear in the blanket I use or sometimes even on your body.  I have removed swords from people’s necks, manacles from wrists, ankles and necks, thorns from feet, and much more.  Those that I removed these items from had physical healings from headaches, feelings of being stuck, and even foot pain eliminated. 

One person I worked on, ‘Beth’, had an open wound on the bottom of her foot that was not healing.  While I was working on the wound, I saw (energetically) pus oozing out from the wound.  Then physically the wound pinked up and looked like it had just been freshly cleaned.  Her boo-boo was better the next day, and completely cleared up within 5 days.  She was quite happy to have this cleared us since it had make walking very painful.

I worked on a man who wanted to move forward.  He said he felt all gummed up and like someone was always watching over his shoulder to make sure he did everything ‘right.’  During our Energy Healing Session, ‘Dave’, released while taking deep cleansing breaths and blowing it out.  He had some lower vibrational energies in his field (aura) and as I balanced his chakras, I also cleared out the stale energy with the help of the Goddess Bast.  After he was done, he said he felt so light and full of joy again.

When ‘Mary’ came in, she didn’t even know what energy healing was.  After explaining it to her she decided to give it a try.  I removed some energy from ‘Mary’ that reminded me of burdens.  She also had some chakras that were way over sized.  I made sure I balanced her chakras.  I filled her with light, and placed her in a bubble so the new energy would be noticeable to her.  She noticed it the next day.  She was happy, bubbly and had motivation to get the things done that she’d left undone for several months.  I talked to her about five days after her session, and she said even her clients noticed the change in her. 

I truly love being a conduit for the healing energies. That is what I am, a conduit.  People have told me “you have strong energy” I’ve never quite known what that means exactly.  I guess it’s just that I allow the energy to flow through me that is for your highest and greatest good, and you decide how much you want.  I appreciate testimonials and compliments as much as the next person, just know that I am not the healer, I am the vessel for the healing energy to flow through.  I create the space and time for you, and you decide the degree to which you are willing to heal during your sessions.  It’s a team effort, with each of us working towards the same end result: Healing on all levels.
